Future and Metro Boomin had previously hinted at an impending joint album, and now, they’ve officially confirmed that they have not just one, but two new albums on the horizon for their fans.
The first installment in this series is titled “We Don’t Trust You” and is scheduled for release on March 22nd, later this month. Following closely behind is the second album, currently without a title, set to drop on Friday, April 12th.
To heighten anticipation for these upcoming releases, Future and Metro Boomin unveiled a trailer. The video features the duo cruising through the desert in luxurious white cars, accompanied by a narration (reportedly by Prodigy) criticizing the current state of the rap game, emphasizing its exclusivity. The narration is underscored by a light piano melody, possibly a snippet from one of their upcoming tracks.
While these albums mark their first full collaborative effort, it’s not their initial collaboration. Metro Boomin has previously produced for Future on hits like “Mask Off,” and Future has contributed to Metro’s “Heroes & Villains” album in 2022, indicating a history of successful teamwork.
