In accordance with a new agreement with the business, Zaytoven has sold Ultra International Music Publishing his vast music collection, which includes songs for artists like Migos, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, and others.
The contract includes 560 songs that were written between 2005 and 2022, including “Versace,” the breakthrough single from the Migos, as well as tracks by Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, and 3500. The purchase price was not made public.
The agreement will also contain brand-new Zay music. UIMP CEO and founder Patrick Moxey expressed his enthusiasm for the project in a statement.
“Zaytoven is an extraordinary talent,” Moxey said. “He is the Father of trap music and has been the driving force of much of how we define that genre. Gucci Mane, Migos, Future – he’s been right there with these artists from the beginning in 2004 right up to the present day. I’m proud to announce that after working with him since 2007 we continue to be focused on future success.”
The new agreement comes shortly after Zay and music executive Big Trill established their own record company, ZTP. The Atlanta native disclosed they are seeking new talent in his announcement about the imprint last month.
“We are Blessed to announce that ‘ZTP’ The Label is official,” Zaytoven wrote on Instagram. “Me and @therealbigtrill are officially a label. We are SIGNING artist, producers, song writers, DJs, all brands. we are looking for a real team a solid team. Searching for all talent in every city, every state, every town!!!! Let’s get to work.”
Zaytoven, who also controls Zaytoven Global, LLC, a different label, declined to say whether or not anyone is currently signed to the company.
