Yung Miami Teases 'put It On Da Floor' Remix

Yung Miami might be the next musician to collaborate on a remix of Latto’s rising song “Put It On Da Floor.”

The City Girls rapper posted a brief video to Instagram on Monday, June 19, performing over a beat that was created by Go Grizzly, Squat Beats, and Ben Hogarth. Miami made references to her on-again/off-again boo Diddy throughout her bars, despite the short footage.

“What makes a bitch cry? My n-gga is worth a billion dollars, and he left me in his will by shooting babies in it.

Latto and Yung Miami already collaborated earlier this year when they both joined Lola Brooke for a remix of “Don’t Play With It.” It is unclear whether this is an official collaboration.

The Cardi B-assisted version of “Put It On Da Floor” was made available by Latto earlier this month. The song, which is presently No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, is expected to become another hit for the two rappers as it has already made it to the top 20.

Regarding Yung Miami, the City Girls recently launched two new tunes to launch their “elevated pussy rap” summer invasion.

JT and Yung Miami delivered a one-two punch to the public on June 9 with the release of “I Need a Thug” and the Southside-produced “Piata.” The former reverses the 1987 LL COOL J classic “I Need Love.”

According to the duo, the album the songs will be featured on will have a completely different vibe from them—one that is elevated—in an interview with Complex about the new music.

“I felt like we were just having fun, like other projects. We didn’t dwell on it or overthink it, Miami said. We would simply write tunes and arrange them. Now it’s just like we consider these records and decide what will be fantastic.

JT continued, “Right now, it’s just about perfection. I don’t want to publish any corny material. We’ve been here for what feels like an eternity, and I don’t even want to play like we used to. I desire good, popular music. Despite being considerably more refined, it is still pussy rap that sounds like fun. It is sophisticated pussy rap.

The duo also released “Act Bad” in May, a joint effort between themselves, before the two singles.
