YouTube has made changes to its Premium subscription, now allowing users to access and try out multiple experimental features at the same time. Previously, Premium subscribers were limited to testing only one feature at a time. Another new benefit includes the ability to increase playback speed on mobile devices to 4x, which will be rolled out soon.
In addition to these updates, Google has introduced a new discount for YouTube Premium through its Google One Premium bundles. Subscribers to Google One Premium plans with 2TB or higher storage or Google One AI Premium plans can now add YouTube Premium at a reduced cost of $11.99 per month, down from the standard $13.99 per month.
The discount is also available to users who currently have an annual YouTube Premium subscription. In such cases, Google will cancel the annual plan, refund the remaining months, and transition the subscriber to the discounted monthly billing option.
