Young Thug recently joked about leaving music for a new career in livestreaming during an appearance on Adin Ross’ Kick stream.
After learning that Ross earns millions as a streamer, Thugger said, “I’ma stop doing music and start streaming… I’m done rapping.” He also pointed to the streamers’ laid-back lifestyle as part of the appeal, commenting on the relaxed setting and unusual pets seen during the session.
Ross tried to get Thug to reveal the release date for his upcoming album UY SCUTI, but the rapper declined to share details.
Though no date is confirmed, UY SCUTI is expected this month. As part of the rollout, some media received promotional boxes containing live spiders and a note reading: “Take care of me until we reach UY SCUTI.”
So far, the only released single is “Money on Money” featuring Future, where Thug includes pointed lyrics that many believe reference tensions with former YSL associates over plea deals in the RICO case.
