Young Thug Calls for Reconciliation Between Drake, Future, and Metro Boomin to End Feud: “We All Bruddas”

Young Thug, even behind bars, is keeping an eye on the feuds within hip-hop and wants to bring harmony. On Friday (Oct. 18), Thugger took to X, asking Drake, Future, and Metro Boomin to reconcile. Thug tweeted from jail, stating that music will suffer without their collaboration.

“@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas. Music aint the same without us collabin,” Thug wrote.

While Future didn’t directly respond, he retweeted Thug’s post, signaling he might be open to burying the hatchet with Drake. Fans reacted positively, with some suggesting that Thugger deserves recognition for his peace efforts. “Future retweet????? Nah, they gotta give Thug the Nobel Peace Prize,” said one fan.

The trio, Drake, Future, and Young Thug, have collaborated before, including on Certified Lover Boy’s “Way 2 Sexy,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021. Thug, in the middle of the YSL RICO trial, saw this as a moment to mend fences in the rap world.

Drake recently showed his support for Young Thug, wearing Thugger’s Sp5der clothing brand and hinting at contributing to his legal defense.

Metro Boomin also commented on the competitive nature of hip-hop, mentioning the Drake-Kendrick feud, noting that while competition is good for the genre, the internet has made it more intense than in the past.
