Young Thug has announced a special hometown concert in Atlanta to celebrate his return and new album Uy Scuti, which arrived after a short delay to avoid overlapping with Cardi B’s Am I The Drama?. The event, titled Hometown Hero: Young Thug & Friends, will take place on December 16 at the State Farm Arena.
The concert is set to feature Young Thug alongside a lineup of surprise guests. While no names have been officially confirmed, fans expect appearances from artists featured on Uy Scuti, including 21 Savage, Future, Lil Baby, Quavo, T.I., and Travis Scott. Some collaborators, such as Mariah The Scientist, are considered less likely to join, though fans continue to hope for an onstage reunion with Gunna.
Benefit-style hometown shows like this have grown in popularity since Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Out: Kendrick & Friends concert in Los Angeles last year, which brought out surprise guests from TDE and across the West Coast music scene.
Tickets for Hometown Hero: Young Thug & Friends will be available on Wednesday, October 8, at 10 a.m. EST through Ticketmaster.
