After recently forcing himself on rapper Sukihana in public, YK Osiris has apologized once more and wants his friends and family to know that he’s attempting to become “a better person.”
The “Worth It” singer apologized to his fans and loved ones on Friday, June 16 via his Instagram Story. He claims he wants to concentrate on his “purpose,” which is to make music.
“I’m sorry to my family and my fans. I keep disappointing you. I simply want to improve myself and give my music my full attention. I really do adore you all,” he wrote. “I was devastated. My family, my love of music, and my thinking all need some support.
Additionally, he made a suggestion that new music might be forthcoming and said that since he has “been bullshitting these past years,” he has “got a gift” for his followers. Examine his posts listed below.
This issue arose as a result of a video that went viral online on Wednesday, June 14, showing YK Osiris pressuring Sukihana into a kiss.
The Wolf Pussy rapper was commenting on a basketball game with Lil Duval, Funny Marco, and Buster Scher when the young crooner, who was standing behind her, seized her head and shoved his tongue down her throat.
On social media, YK Osiris’ actions drew harsh criticism and accusations of sexual assault.
Soon after, YK Osiris apologized to the rapper/reality TV personality on Instagram, claiming he “misread the moment” and was “embarrassed” by his behavior.
“I would like to officially apologize to Sukihana. I misinterpreted the situation in an effort to be humorous and went against Sukihana’s rules. I am ashamed of my behavior and I am aware of the value of consent, he admitted at the time on Instagram.
Sukihana has since accepted YK Osiris’ apologies, but her mother had a very different take on the matter.
Around the same time, Lori Lee called YK Osiris out on Instagram for his “fake ass apology” and warned him there would be smoke if they ever crossed paths in person.
