YK Osiris has maintained the caliber of his music despite having previously stated that he thinks “anything” can be a hit album in today’s market.
The R&B singer originally used Instagram to share his opinions about the status of the music business, but in doing so, he also attracted a lot of criticism for his own work.
Osiris wrote, “I’m tired of this trash ass music lol.” “This place is scary, lol. Any hit is funny. And you guys let that happen, haha You guys are sick, man. Real music, my ass.
Osiris apparently received a ton of abuse, and the “Worth It” singer responded to the haters by posting a video a short while later.
“Y’all can say anything y’all want to say about Osiris and all that funny sh*t, right? said Osiris. You cannot claim that the music of Osiris is bad.
“You have the freedom to express yourself… but I promise, ask your mother. Query your younger sister. Osiris is not trash when playing that n-gga song. I’m going to play for you all the n-ggas, trash, and doo-doo ass music you’ve been putting out. That dookie is awful as fuck.
YK Osiris has already hit back at those who criticize his music. He called out Tory Lanez in 2022 for allegedly laughing at his most recent track, “Be My Girl,” which was released in July of that year.
The Florida singer once more used Instagram Stories to share a video message intended for Tory in which he expressed his displeasure while still praising his talent.
He said, “Tory, first of all, I just wanna say, you’re one of the G.O.A.T.s, n-gga.” “I give your flowers to you. You’re one of them, and I definitely look up to you. You cannot argue against the incredible vocals. So let’s be clear: I don’t care if you grin and giggle at my art while reading one of my posts. I don’t mess around like that.
I recently went on some brother-brother stuff, or whatever you want to call it, in Vegas with you. And because you n-ggas fake, I avoid fucking with a lot of n-ggas in the business. But I get that because I put a lot of crap on myself.
