Yeat’s popularity is growing rapidly as he refines his sound and builds his following. His upcoming album LYFESTYLE is expected to be a commercial breakthrough. Recently, he sat down for an interview with The Fader, where he discussed the album’s sound and revealed the list of featured artists, much to fans’ delight.
The tracklist for LYFESTYLE includes 21 songs, but the features were initially kept under wraps. Yeat ultimately shared that the album will include guest appearances from rap stars like Kodak Black and Lil Durk, as well as hooks from Don Toliver, Summrs, and Lazer Dim 700. Known for his rage style, which often blends genres, Yeat stated that he is focusing on a more traditional hip-hop sound for this album.
“LYFESTYLE [is] basically just my normal rap sht,” Yeat explained. “It’s not futuristic; it’s the most polished I’ve ever come with the rap sht.” The choice of features, including conventional rappers like Lil Durk and Kodak, aligns with this approach.
For fans of Yeat’s more experimental style, there’s good news: he confirmed that his next album is already in the works, aiming for a refined version of his previous project, 2093. “I don’t know when it’s going to come out, but it’s kind of like 2093, but a lot more refined,” he said. Fans are eager to hear what he has in store.
