YBC Marcus Makes His Debut on The Franchise Report

In his debut appearance on The Franchise Report, 19-year-old rapper YBC Marcus brought energy and confidence to the booth while sharing his journey, influences, and what’s next for his career.

Representing Pucket (Buck West), Marcus explained that he started rapping at 12 and began taking it seriously by 17. Though he hasn’t released a full project yet, he has a couple of songs out on YouTube.

Marcus described himself as a natural performer, preferring the stage to the studio. He recalled rocking Move the Crowd recently, sneaking into an extra round even after not advancing, just to showcase his talent. When asked who influenced him most, Marcus credited his father, who introduced him to rap early on by playing classics in the car and sparking his love for music.

The episode also featured a live freestyle where Marcus delivered raw bars about struggle, loyalty, and survival, proving why he’s a name to watch. He closed by teasing upcoming projects dropping next month, while keeping the titles under wraps.
