Wu-Tang Clan has launched the Wu-Tang Forever Time Capsule, a mobile archive of hip-hop history that will travel with the group on their farewell tour, Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber. The capsule debuted at a surprise performance during Dave Chappelle’s ‘Soundcheck Series’ in Yellow Springs, Ohio, with Chappelle contributing a signed vinyl from his personal collection.
“This is about legacy,” said RZA. “Every city will leave something behind. It’s our way of connecting Wu-Tang fans from around the globe.”
The capsule will be available exclusively through the Shaolin Temple VIP experience, which includes premium seating, exclusive merchandise, and the chance for fans to contribute memorabilia at each tour stop.
Produced by AEG Presents, the 27-date tour kicks off June 6 in Baltimore and features support from Run the Jewels. The tour promises deep cuts, classic hits, and never-before-seen moments from Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and Wu-Tang Forever.
The tour follows a historic Las Vegas residency and over 40 million albums sold. Fans can visit wu-tangclan.com for tickets and VIP details.
