E-40 has demonstrated that he only gets better with time, just like the various wines he offers, as he recently broke a new Billboard chart record.
The Bay Area rap icon shared a list of solo rappers with the most Billboard 200 chart-topping albums on Instagram on Monday, May 22. E-40 came in first place with an astounding 33 albums.
40 Water stated, “Numbers don’t lie, I’m just getting started,” before announcing the approaching release of his upcoming album. Stay tuned for the “7/7/2023 E-40 Rule Of Thumb 1 & 2!”
Other musicians on the list were, among others, NBA YoungBoy, Snoop Dogg, Nas, and 2Pac. 2019’s Practice Makes Paper was E-40’s most recent release.
The multi-hyphenate businessman is allowing both the musical and college worlds to celebrate. He recently received an honorary doctorate in music from Grambling State University, his alma mater.
At GSU’s graduation ceremony earlier this month, E-40 was present to accept the diploma and spoke to the graduating class to offer advice, encouragement, and appreciation.

E-40, meantime, recently blasted Rolling Stone for leaving “Tell Me When to Go” off of its list of the “100 Greatest West Coast Hip Hop Songs.”
On May 3, he vented his complaints about the magazine on Twitter after it released the lengthy list earlier in the month.
The RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) eventually certified the song as gold when it peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. E-40’s breakthrough single, “Captain Save a Hoe,” peaked at No. 94 on the Hot 100.
