Wendy Michel Announces IMAGINE: A New Creative Wellness Space in Hyde Park.

Twelve years after writing a business plan she says she doesn’t remember drafting—following a 20-hour fast and a moment of personal reflection—Wendy Michel is preparing to open the doors to IMAGINE, an 8,800 sq. ft. space dedicated to creative wellness and transformation in Hyde Park.

Michel shared the announcement via Instagram, reflecting on the journey that led to this point. The plan, conceived during a period of uncertainty as she awaited a flight home from Germany, where she had been studying art, design, spirituality, and wellness, has evolved into a fully realized space.

“I was asking God for clarity, purpose, and next steps—so I began chasing this dream,” Michel wrote. “I didn’t realize the detours, delays, and wait were direction, protection, and preparation.”

Now named IMAGINE, the space will serve as a hub for artists, youth, and visionaries—particularly those who have felt “othered” in their creative and entrepreneurial pursuits. Michel describes it as a place for “creative wellness, brand therapy, and transformation.”

“This space feels personal but is collective,” she added.

The project is supported by Henry Luxe Real Estate, a Black-owned realty group led by @jluckyhenry, who Michel credited for helping bring the vision to life.
