Warner Music France has introduced a new dance music label, Adore Music, as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the electronic music industry. The label was officially launched on March 24 in Paris.
Romain Pasquier, Managing Director of Adore Music, highlighted France’s influence in global electronic music, citing artists like Air, Daft Punk, David Guetta, and Gesaffelstein. He stated that Adore Music aims to continue this legacy while elevating new talent on an international scale.
The label will utilize Warner Music’s global network to support artists from France and beyond, offering them resources to expand their reach. Its first release, Need You the Most by French duo Ofenbach, is already available. Warner Music France noted that Ofenbach was the most-streamed French group internationally in 2024.
Adrien Morin-Guardia, A&R and Head of Marketing at Adore Music, described the launch as a significant step in Warner Music France’s expansion into dance music. He emphasized the label’s commitment to fostering emerging talent while continuing collaborations with established artists like Feder and Ofenbach.
To celebrate the launch, Adore Music hosted a creative camp at Warner Music France’s new headquarters, bringing together over 30 artists, producers, and composers. The event included collaborations with Ultra Music Publishing and Warner Chappell Music.
The label’s launch comes as dance music continues to grow globally. According to MIDiA Research’s IMS Business Report, the industry expanded by 17% year-over-year in 2023, reaching a market size of $11.8 billion.
A&R representative Nicolas Klersy emphasized Adore Music’s mission to discover and support new talent while blending digital innovation with artistic heritage. He expressed the label’s goal of shaping the future of dance music by creating an environment where artists can thrive.
Warner Music Group has been increasing its investments in dance music. In 2017, it acquired Spinnin’ Records for over $100 million. In 2023, Warner Records introduced Major Recordings, its flagship electronic dance music label. The following year, Warner Music South East Europe launched Balkan Electro, a label dedicated to EDM artists from the Balkans and Ukraine.

Universal Music Group’s Capitol Records UK introduced Lift Me Up Records in 2022, while UMG launched Casablanca Records in 2016 as a dance music imprint.
Warner Music Group continues to expand its genre-focused labels globally. In 2024, it launched SOL in partnership with Dominican artist Tokischa and her manager Angelica Piche. In September, Warner Music Korea introduced MPLIFY, a label dedicated to Korean artists. Warner Music reported $1.666 billion in revenue in Q4 2024.
