Vivica A. Fox Open To Rekindling Relationship With 50 Cent: ‘why Not?’

Despite dating for almost 20 years, Vivica A. Fox and 50 Cent still seem to have a significant impact on one another.

In a recent interview on SHERRI, Fox, who dated the G-Unit tycoon for a few months in the early 2000s, was asked about reuniting with her ex. Fox, who jokedly recalled Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rekindling their romance nearly 20 years after parting up, responded, “Why not?”

The Set It Off actress talked openly about love and the qualities she was searching for in a companion for the remainder of the conversation.

Though Fox has frequently referred to 50 as the “love of her life,” the two have had a rocky relationship since calling it quits in 2003. Recently, 50 criticized his ex for helming her own Black Mafia Family movie.

The First Lady of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story, a forthcoming biopic about the Detroit gangster scheduled to air on BET+ later this year, will be directed by Fox, according to Deadline.

The movie, which also counts Judge Greg Mathis as an executive producer, “charts Welch’s rise from teen mom to drug dealer to being labeled by federal prosecutors as ‘The First Lady of BMF.'”

When he learned about the idea, 50 Cent—whose BMF series, which he debuted in 2021 and is one of STARZ’s most watched series—took to Instagram back in March to criticize Vivica A. Fox for stepping on his territory.

He wrote, “This should say 263 not BMF, @southwest263 [shrug emoji],” making reference to the crew Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, a co-founder of BMF, founded in Los Angeles. What the fvck is this man, I ask you. [Frog emoji] and [tea emoji].

Vivian, ugh So you’re never going to leave me alone myself, hun? along with Judge Mathis’ inclusion in this mix, what the fvck? I’ve had it with all of you ni66as; I’m finished. LOL.”

Fox addressed the rapper’s remarks during a different part of the interview and said that it was just his way of “complimenting her.” “That was his support tactic. You’re welcome, boo,” she said.
