The inaugural Mirror Mirror Music Festival, scheduled for December 3 at the FPL Solar Amphitheater in Bayfront Park in Miami, Florida, will honor Virgil Abloh’s enthusiasm for music, art, and design. Travis Scott, Skepta, and Benji B are among the artists who will perform at the one-day event organized by Virgil Abloh Securities, a creative firm that Virgil formed. Benji B will also serve as the event’s curator.
Shannon Abloh, Virgil Abloh Securities’ CEO, managing director, and widow of the legendary designer and artist, said, “Virgil had the ability to bring everyone together to create magic.” She continued, “With his close collaborators, we wanted to bring everyone together to celebrate Virgil—his legacy, his passion, and his care for others.” “He believed his real work was championing others, and we will continue his work supporting youth in the arts with the launch of the Virgil Abloh Foundation in 2023.”
At the Mirror Mirror Music Festival, Venus X, Yves Tumor, Bambii, Acyde, Rampa, and Pedro will all perform. A limited-edition festival merchandise capsule of hoodies, tees, a tote, and a cap will also be sold to mark the occasion. On December 3, the capsule will be made available at Canary—-Yellow. com.
The Virgil Abloh Foundation will be launched with the help of all net proceeds from the event.
On Wednesday, December 23, at 10 a.m. ET, tickets for the event will go on sale at mirror—mirror.com. A small number of VIP tickets will be made available; these tickets grant holders access to unique festival seating areas as well as limited edition merchandise in advance of the event.
