On Saturday, June 21, the Bellforge Arts Center will come alive with rhythm, poetry, and purpose as Unspoken II Festival returns for its second year, offering a bold and heartfelt tribute to Juneteenth. From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, this free, outdoor celebration will spotlight Black artistry, culture, and community resilience with a genre-spanning lineup and local flavor.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, Unspoken II is more than just an event — it’s a cultural gathering centered on liberation and expression.
Headlining the festival is Yanna G, bringing her sound to the stage with live support from acclaimed Boston-based DJ and cultural curator DJ WHYSHAM. Also joining the lineup are Miranda Rae, and The PoetBul.
While the mainstage delivers sonic and lyrical energy, the grounds at Bellforge Arts Center will transform into a vibrant community hub — featuring local food trucks, independent vendors, and family-friendly activities for all ages. Designed to be accessible and inclusive, the event is free and open to the public, with a rain date set for Sunday, June 22.
The festival is co-presented by Bellforge Arts Center and Activating Artivism, organizations committed to amplifying marginalized voices through the arts. Their joint effort underscores the importance of creative spaces that are both celebratory and reflective — especially during Juneteenth, a holiday that honors Black freedom and the continuing journey toward equity.
Whether you’re drawn by the beats, the spoken word, or the community spirit, Unspoken II Festival invites all to show up, listen, and vibe.
