Tyler, The Creator’s long-running partnership with Converse returns with the 1908: Archives collection, launching June 20. The collection features updated versions of the Coach Jogger from 1976 and the Naut-1 from 1971. The Coach Jogger was originally designed for Olympic track events, while the Naut-1 was created for daily wear. Both models are now positioned more as lifestyle shoes, given how performance footwear has changed over time.
Since first linking with Converse in 2017, Tyler has created both original silhouettes like the GLF 2.0 and reimagined classics such as the Chuck Taylor All Star. His partnership with Converse stands as one of hip-hop’s most enduring and consistently successful, with every release selling out.
Outside of sneakers, Tyler’s been relatively quiet in 2025, following the success of his latest album, Chromakopia. He’s still made select appearances, including sets at Osheaga, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands. He also recently announced the dates for his 11th Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.
