Tyler, the Creator Festival Could Host Chalamet’s Outrageous Marty Supreme Stunt

Timothée Chalamet is already thinking big for the marketing of Marty Supreme, the sports comedy-drama he stars in alongside Tyler, the Creator (Tyler Okonma), ahead of its Christmas Day release. The actor shared a Zoom meeting with the film’s “marketing team” on X, humorously pitching increasingly outrageous ideas—from orange-colored Statues of Liberty and Eiffel Towers to thousands of Wheaties boxes—before landing on a blimp reading “Marty Supreme” with “Dream Big” at the bottom.

Chalamet suggested the blimp fly above Camp Flog Gnaw, Tyler’s festival recently postponed in Los Angeles, while releasing Marty Supreme-themed ping-pong balls. While the team raised concerns about safety, Chalamet acknowledged the risks but emphasized wanting the movie’s release to be a memorable cultural moment.

Marty Supreme, based on late table tennis champion Martin Reisman, is directed by Josh Safdie and also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, and Fran Drescher. Despite the wild promotional ideas, the film remains on track for its December 25 release.
