Tyler, The Creator took fans on a nostalgic and thrilling ride during his headlining set at Camp Flog Gnaw’s first night on Saturday (Nov. 16) at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Opening with ambient shipping dock sounds, Tyler emerged atop a CHROMAKOPIA-themed set, donning a military uniform and mask, to chants of “Chromakooooooopia” from the crowd.
Performing tracks from his latest album CHROMAKOPIA, including “St. Chroma” and “Rah Tah Tah,” Tyler reflected on his evolving stardom. “Thank all you motherf–kers for supporting me, man,” he told the audience while celebrating the album’s three-week reign at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. His performance featured hits spanning his career, from Goblin to Call Me If You Get Lost.
Special guests included Sexyy Red, who joined him for “Sticky,” Daniel Caesar and Doechii for “Balloon,” and ScHoolboy Q for “Thought I Was Dead.” Tyler praised Caesar as a key contributor to his latest project. “This n—a came through for me,” Tyler said emotionally.
