Bottega Veneta has launched a new campaign titled “Craft is our Language,” highlighting the brand’s signature intrecciato leatherwork as it marks its 50th anniversary. The campaign emphasizes craftsmanship through a series of black and white visuals showing interlaced hands, symbolizing the manual work behind the woven leather technique.

Rapper and producer Tyler, the Creator is featured prominently in the campaign, appearing in various intrecciato garments and accessories. His involvement signals a new phase for the brand’s celebrity collaborations, following past partnerships with figures like A$AP Rocky. Tyler’s relationship with newly appointed creative director Louis Trotter, who previously worked at Lacoste, appears to influence this new direction.
Bottega Veneta’s approach remains minimal, with no visible logos, a preference for subtle design elements like the intrecciato weave, and a continued distance from most social media platforms. The campaign serves as both a nod to the brand’s tradition and a quiet introduction to its evolving presence under Trotter’s leadership.
