Tyla marked the release of her new single “Chanel” on Oct. 24 by hosting a “Put Her in Chanel” brunch in Los Angeles “for the girls.” The event took place at Chez Mia in West Hollywood and brought together about 25 women, including influencers, journalists, and stars from the “Chanel” music video.
Guests were greeted with white roses and personalized notes, symbolizing giving women their flowers. Each attendee received a custom Chanel compact mirror, while a bouquet bar offered flowers wrapped in white paper “Chanel bags.”
“I’m here to spoil the girls. I’m putting you all in Chanel today,” Tyla said during her champagne toast. Dressed in an oversized white Chanel tee and layered gold chains, she added, “We know our worth. We are who we are. We know what we bring to the table. So come to the table!”
The South African artist’s relationship with Chanel continues to grow — from her Paris Fashion Week debut in March to her vintage Chanel look at the 2025 MTV VMAs, where she won Best Afrobeats for “Push 2 Start.” In her “Chanel” video, she features the 2013 hula hoop bag by Karl Lagerfeld.
Following her WWP EP, which hit No. 11 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, Tyla has collaborated with Cardi B, Vybz Kartel, Teyana Taylor, and Lojay, further expanding her global reach.
