Ty Dolla $Ign Taps Symba & Leon Thomas For More Motion, Less Emotion Tour

Returning to the road with his concert, Ty Dolla $ign will this time be joined by Symba and Leon Thomas.

The ‘More Motion, Less Emotion’ tour was announced by the three musicians on their own Instagram sites on Tuesday (June 20), with Symba expressing his appreciation for the opportunity.

“Running around the world with my dawg @tydollasign is a dream come true,” he added alongside a prayer emoji.

The journey begins in San Diego in September and stops in Houston, New Orleans, Miami, New York City, and other cities before coming to an end in San Francisco in late October. This Friday, June 23, tickets go on sale here.

In other developments, Ty Dolla $ign recently admitted that he hasn’t even listened to Beach House 2, the critically acclaimed mixtape that launched his career and is soon to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

The Los Angeles native visited Apple Music 1 earlier this month to promote his brand-new song “Motion.” When the conversation shifted to BH2’s upcoming birthday, Ty acknowledged he hasn’t played the album since it was released in July 2013.

Ty stated, “I haven’t listened to Beach House 2.” That’s not a lie. No, but it has been enormous. It’s time to celebrate and give a shout-out to everyone who was with me back then, to those who are still with me now from that team, and to all the new acquaintances I’ve made along the way.

It’s still continuing, too! We are continuing. Back then, it was more about trying to get people to listen to it or just to get acknowledged because you know you make fantastic music and all your friends are telling you, “This is crazy.

“But then to get the people to feel it, that was also the time of just meeting my first publicist, managers, and everything else and just seeing how the game works,” the speaker concluded. And now that I’ve gained experience, I essentially know what to do when I get a record.

On July 1, 2013, Beach House 2, hosted by DJ Drama, began. Stars including Mustard, YG, Wiz Khalifa, Kirko Bangz, Juicy J, Jeezy, B.o.B., Chris Brown, Kid Ink, The Game, and more are featured on all 13 songs. It also includes “Paranoid,” which at the time had a verse from Joe Moses and would later become Ty Dolla $ign’s breakthrough single.
