Trippie Redd Hosts A Christmas Toy Drive Dressed As The Grinch

Trippie Redd dressed in green but made sure to spread festive cheer even as The Grinch attempted to steal Christmas.

On December 18, Trippie Redd held a toy drive in Los Angeles, claiming to have distributed over 4,000 presents to children while wearing the hairy green outfit.

The Grinch impersonated by the Ohio native was practically impossible to identify outside of his hand tattoos because of his Santa suit jacket and headgear, but news quickly spread that the “Dark Knight Dummo” was responsible for the toy drive.

When fans swarmed Trippie on a Los Angeles street, he and his girlfriend, singer Skye Morales, gave out toys, posed for pictures, and even signed some goods for a select few lucky fans.

DDG came up to offer support to Trippie, and when he was pushed to speak in his deep “true voice,” he reluctantly complied, sending TR into a rage.

“Bro, you funny as fuck,” Redd told DDG. “Ay, that’s hard.”

Trippie also took to his Instagram Story to shine a light on DDG’s music. “DDG Music Hard,” he added.

Despite not releasing a project in 2022, Trippie Redd has continued to work diligently on the finalization of his A Love Letter To You 5 album, which had been reported to be released at various intervals this year. The album A Love Letter To You 4 from 2019 featured a song titled “The Grinch.”

Fans will be able to see the 23-year-old perform live in January when he joins Future on the One Big Party Tour for a few stops around the country. Kodak Black, Polo G, EST Gee, Babyface Ray, Rob49 and Ocean x KungFu are among the other notable guests on the tour.

It was announced in October that Trippie Redd has begun work on his very own anime series. Trippie will collaborate on the show with The Boondocks producer Carl Jones because she is a major anime enthusiast.

The native of Ohio shared information about his upcoming effort on his Instagram Story.

“It’s an honor to be working on an anime with the same guy that animated the show that made me love anime,” he wrote to Jones. Trippie went on to reveal that he’s already hard at work on the script for the show, which is coming along nicely.
