Travis Scott has dropped a new trailer for Jackboys 2, the upcoming Cactus Jack label compilation, previewing unreleased music and launching a wave of anticipation. Directed by Harmony Korine, the cinematic clip features Scott driving a purple Lamborghini through the countryside, with a cameo from his daughter Stormi.
In the teaser, Scott raps, “Only time we seen results was watching Jerry / Only time I seen a lake was watching Ricky,” hinting at lyrics from the upcoming album. The film has sparked buzz from labelmates Sheck Wes and Don Toliver, as well as producers Tay Keith and Oz. “JB2 !!!!!!!!! WTF IS WE DOIN,” Sheck commented online.
Scott also revamped his online store for the project, launching digital pre-orders, limited-edition merch bundles, vinyl, and alternate CD covers. Fans have spotted DVD-style cases for the Jackboys 2 film around New York, suggesting a full visual release may be coming soon.
While no release date has been confirmed, Jackboys 2 seems near. Scott previewed songs during his Coachella set in April. The original Jackboys compilation, released in December 2019, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured Pop Smoke, Lil Baby, Quavo, Offset, and more.
