Travis Scott has launched pre-orders for his upcoming album Jackboys 2, sparking speculation that its release is near. Through his official website, fans can purchase both physical and digital versions, each with unique cover art. The vinyl editions include a “Mask Cover” and a “Bolt Cover,” while the digital album features the “Gang Cover.” CDs and merchandise are also available.
Although no release date has been confirmed, the album is expected to include features from Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, GloRilla, Tyla, and 21 Savage. Scott dropped the lead single “2000 EXCURSION” on Tuesday, reuniting with his Jackboys collaborators.
The rollout comes shortly after Pusha T appeared to diss Travis Scott on the Clipse single “So Be It.” In his verse, Pusha accused Scott of disloyalty, referencing past situations involving Drake and Pharrell. He pointed to Scott’s role in sharing the song “Meltdown” before Drake’s verse was added—one that took aim at Pharrell—and highlighted Scott’s support of Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.”
Following the release of Pusha T’s track, GQ published additional comments from a previous interview, in which Pusha detailed his frustrations. Though Travis Scott has not publicly responded, fans noticed he followed parody account Wurrco shortly after they joked about him releasing Jackboys 2 on the same day as Clipse’s upcoming album Let God Sort Em Out, due Friday, July 11.
