Travis Scott Hints at Imminent Release of JACKBOYS 2 Following Birthday Tease.

Travis Scott’s highly-anticipated compilation album JACKBOYS 2 could be released as soon as this week. In an Instagram post celebrating his mother’s birthday, Scott teased that fans might have her to thank for the album’s imminent drop. He shared, “I played her JACKBOYS 2, she said drop on your bday baby Jack,” hinting that the album could arrive on April 30, his birthday. Scott has been teasing the album heavily in recent weeks, even saying on social media, “Jackboys album brazy. I just threw up. Certified.”

Scott also mentioned that the album would drop before his return to WWE, where he has been actively involved recently. In an Instagram post from WrestleMania 41, he wrote, “I DON’T WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.” The first JACKBOYS album, released in late 2019, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 154,000 album equivalent units in its first week.

The album featured artists from Scott’s label, including Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, and DJ Chase B, along with collaborations from Young Thug, Quavo, Offset, and Pop Smoke. Scott also recently debuted new solo music at Coachella, including songs “She Goin Dumb” and “Oh Jacques,” continuing the rager aesthetic of his Utopia album. While Scott hasn’t confirmed which album the new tracks will appear on, he’s hinted at both a solo project and a second JACKBOYS compilation.
