Travis Scott’s Epic Surprise: Fan Gets Unreleased Utopia Merchandise Mid-Concert

Travis Scott Gifts Fan Unreleased 'utopia' Merch & Shoes Off His Feet At Dublin Show

Travis Scott surely understands how to gradually increase anticipation for his new album, Utopia.

The Houston native gave a fan some special stuff from off his body on Sunday, June 2, during his headlining performance at Dublin’s Longitude festival. Scott left the stage and walked over to the front row of the audience while rapping to “Lost Forever.”

One audience member and the trap star traded the microphone back and forth between bars, speaking word for word. After finishing his stanza, Scott gave his rap companion his Nike shoes and Utopia shirt, which had not yet been released on the market.

Since then, the fan has shared further festival footage in addition to the video of them exchanging lyrics. He even stated in an Instagram Story, “SHOES AND TEE NOT FOR SALE YALL IM KEEPING THESE TILL I DIE.”

The “90210” hitmaker recently made a significant progress toward fulfilling his commitment to make Utopia available.

He has been teasing a sequel to the critically acclaimed ASTROWORLD for almost three years now. Utopia billboards are currently appearing in Los Angeles after hiding a number of easter eggs over the last months.

There are two signs that are unique to their area that have been going around online. “IS IT IN THE CHATEAU?” asks one billboard located directly outside the Chateau Marmont on the Sunset Strip. Another reads, “IS IT IN THE LIQUOR STORE?” and is posted directly over one in West Hollywood.

Both signs also have the words findutopia.com, which links to Scott’s official website, and a spherical device with two wooden arms that looks like a clock. Instead of the hourly numbers surrounding it, there are lopsided heads reminiscent of claymation.

In a different billboard design, a combination lock is used, making reference to the “Utopia” briefcases that Scott has been using to advertise his upcoming album. Many people think that the fact that the code is locked on 07211 suggests that the release date may be July 21.
