Travis Scott delivered a dynamic performance at the College Football Playoff National Championship halftime show, debuting his new single, “4×4.” Performing atop Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the Notre Dame vs. Ohio State game, Scott surprised fans with his first solo material since his 2023 No. 1 album, Utopia.
The new track, “4×4,” is set to release on streaming platforms this Friday, Jan. 24. Fans can pre-save the single and explore new merchandise, including a CD with abstract cover art, at shop.travisscott.com.
In a charitable gesture, Scott announced that all net proceeds from two merchandise items an LAFD tee and zip hoodie will support Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund, aiding those affected by the devastating wildfires that began earlier this month.
It remains unclear whether “4×4” is a standalone single or a preview of Scott’s anticipated fifth studio album. Meanwhile, FireAid, a benefit concert featuring Billie Eilish, Green Day, Lady Gaga, and more, is set to raise additional funds for wildfire relief.
