Travis Scott has collaborated with Spotify to release a mini-documentary focusing on his one-night concert celebrating the tenth anniversary of his breakthrough mixtape, Days Before Rodeo. The trailer is available exclusively through Complex.
The documentary, titled Spotify Presents: Days Before Rodeo, will be available on Spotify’s YouTube channel starting September 18. It highlights an August concert in Atlanta where Travis, also known as La Flame, delivered an energetic performance reminiscent of the Days Before Rodeo era. The sold-out show featured a set from Travis, a DJ performance by Chase B, and a surprise appearance by Quavo.
Fans can relive performances of songs like “Mamacita,” “Drugs Don’t Play,” “Skyfall,” “Basement Freestyle,” and “Quintana Part 2.” The film also includes interviews with Travis, his collaborators, and fans, along with behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the mixtape 10 years ago.
Josh Peas, Spotify’s Head of Hip Hop and R&B – Artist Partnerships, said the mixtape was an era-defining project, and the concert was a way to capture the energy it brought to fans. The documentary serves as a time capsule of that special night for years to come.
Days Before Rodeo, Scott’s second mixtape following Owl Pharaoh, was originally released in August 2014 and is now available on all major streaming platforms. The project features appearances from artists like Young Thug, T.I., The 1975, Big Sean, Migos, Peewee Longway, and the late Rich Homie Quan.
