The highest-rated album of all time on one of the most well-known fan review websites on the internet is Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly.
On Thursday (January 31), the Compton rapper’s third studio album overtook Radiohead’s OK Computer to take the #1 spot on Rate Your Music’s list of the greatest albums of all time.
This is the first new #1 album that Rate Your Music has had in almost a decade, the website that allows users to rate and review music noted on Twitter.
Based on 58,322 ratings and 491 reviews, To Pimp a Butterfly has received an average rating of 4.34 out of 5, with OK Computer currently trailing closely behind with a 4.26 rating.
The Beatles, My Bloody Valentine, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, MF DOOM, and Madlib all have albums in the top 10, and K. Dot’s good kid, m.A.A.d city comes in at number 11.
