TikTok Launches LIVE Fan Club Feature to Deepen Creator Engagement.

TikTok has introduced a new feature called LIVE Fan Club as part of its growing live streaming network. With over 130 million creators now broadcasting daily, the platform continues to expand its monetization and engagement tools for creators and fans alike.

Through LIVE Fan Club, viewers who send ‘Heart Me’ gifts during live streams are automatically added to a creator’s fan base. Members can complete missions—such as watching streams, commenting, and sending gifts—to earn points and unlock exclusive rewards.

Perks for Fan Club members include access to special chat rooms, badges next to usernames, and spotlight animations upon entering a livestream. Completing missions can also unlock exclusive virtual gifts and level-up announcements during broadcasts.

The feature launched alongside TikTok’s Community Fest 2025, a promotional campaign running from June 15 to July 5. According to TikTok, it’s a precursor to LIVE Fest 2025, aimed at helping creators grow audiences and build communities in real time.

TikTok LIVE Head Adam Wang said: “Our mission is to help creators and viewers connect, grow, and thrive in real time. Community Fest is a celebration of the talent and generosity we see every day on LIVE.”

Fan Clubs are being promoted heavily in Asian markets, where livestream commerce is thriving. TikTok also highlighted creators like Vanessa of @deliciousnessbakery, who significantly boosted her earnings by consistently going live.

The LIVE Fan Club rollout aligns with broader industry growth. The global live streaming market, valued at $38.87 billion in 2022, is projected to reach $256.56 billion by 2032.
