A TikTok creator accidentally turned a night out into an unexpected adventure after showing up a full year early for Doja Cat’s Tour Ma Vie World Tour stop in New York City. TikToker @officialkenyam posted a video of herself and a friend arriving at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 1, expecting to see the Grammy winner. Instead, they found an empty venue and quickly realized the concert wasn’t scheduled until December 1, 2026.
In the clip, the two appear in full feline-inspired outfits, only to find no crowds, no lines, and no show preparations. “POV: It’s Dec 1 in NYC and you’ve arrived at the Doja Cat concert,” the on-screen text reads, followed by, “And to your surprise you’re the only ones here.” The video ends with the actual concert date highlighted, confirming they were a full year early. Kenya captioned the clip explaining the shock and frustration after buying outfits, organizing plans, and rushing to the venue, only to learn Doja was performing in Australia that night.
Doja Cat’s Tour Ma Vie began in November in New Zealand and will continue through mid-June on its international leg. The North American stretch begins in October next year, starting in Detroit. The mistaken New York date is part of that future schedule.
