This Week’s “2024 In New England” Playlist Update.

Vermont’s Noah Kahan capped off his nearly two-year run of promoting his world-renowned “Stick Season” album by releasing “Live From Fenway Park”, a live project from his two legendary shows at New England’s cathedral back in July.

Rhode Island’s budding star Lily Rayne released “SIRENS”, her first full-length project since 2022.  Coming off her viral “On The Radar” freestyle a few months ago, the Providence native continues to carve her own path by bringing a fresh sound and style to both hip-hop, pop, r&b, and whatever other genres she chooses to implement in her infectious tunes.

Other notable albums this week came from some heavy hitters in the NE hip-hop scene, including Boston’s AVENUEBLVD, 8 Zipp & King Brickz, and EXITFAME as well as Waltham’s Oak Lonetree (with production from Chairman Chow) and Maine’s OystahGuy & Dave Gutter.

As far as singles, enjoy some new vibes from Amy Allen (a Maine native who co-wrote every song on the number one album in the world right now, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short N’ Sweet”), Boston hitmaker Tyler Loyal, veteran Lawrence emcee Reks, as well as Connis, FELIX!, Maari, Chase Murphy, CD Rose, Chris Webby, FIXCOOP, and plenty more.

Pro tip: the playlist is pretty long, so sort by “recently added” to see the newest tracks first.
