The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour Surpasses $1 Billion in Gross Revenue

The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn tour is still underway, but it has already crossed a historic milestone. The global stadium run has officially grossed over $1 billion, securing its position as the highest-earning tour by a male solo artist.

The tour launched in July 2022 after delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, it has continued to expand and evolve. The singer is scheduled to close out the run next year with dates across Mexico, Brazil, Europe, and the UK. The release of those final tour dates pushed the earnings past the $1 billion mark.

Across 153 shows, the tour has sold more than 7.5 million tickets. The 2025 North American leg alone featured over 40 sold-out dates and set new records at multiple venues. The Weeknd became the top-grossing Black male artist in the history of several cities, including New York, Montreal, and Houston. In Toronto, he set another milestone, performing six shows at the Rogers Centre—the most by any male solo artist on a single tour in the city.

Originally planned to launch in 2020 to support After Hours, the tour eventually kicked off in 2022 and later incorporated material from Dawn FM. With the arrival of his 2025 album Hurry Up Tomorrow, the recent U.S. and Canadian dates featured updated setlists and new staging.

The major touring milestone arrives shortly after The Weeknd purchased a $54.9 million waterfront estate in Miami. The property includes eight bedrooms, 1.24 acres of land, a private dock, and space to host a megayacht. He continues to maintain his Bel-Air mansion, which appeared as a fictional residence in the series The Idol.
