To commemorate the one-year anniversary of his most recent album, Dawn FM, The Weeknd has released a brand-new music video for “Is There Someone Else?” that draws inspiration from horror films.
The XO vocalist debuted the cinematic video on Saturday (January 7), which seems to transform the shady storyline of the 2000 thriller American Psycho, starring Christian Bale, into a chic and promiscuous love and suspense story.
The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, tweeted in anticipation of the video’s premiere that he was looking forward to Dawn FM’s first anniversary. “TONIGHT, DAWN FM TURNS 1… list the top songs… He tweeted, “Go.”
