The first-ever Northamptonshire Local Music Awards have a new date and venue.
The event, which was originally scheduled for early this year at The Deco Theatre, will now take place on Monday, December 12 at The Charles Bradlaugh in Northampton.
Following the event’s debut, more than 2,500 individuals nominated performers and venues across 14 categories earlier this year with the goal that it will turn into an annual date on the music calendar.
A person who has gone above and beyond to assist the music scene in Northamptonshire will receive the Outstanding Contribution To Local Music award, which will be determined independently by the organizers. The ceremony was originally scheduled to take place in September but was postponed.
The change of venue to the Charles Bradlaugh comes after the original November date was postponed.
The event’s organizers thanked everyone who had supported the event and the personnel at The Deco in a statement, stating that the venue change was “due to issues beyond our control.”
From 7.30 pm to 10 pm, The Charles Bradlaugh will host the Northamptonshire Local Music Awards.
Tickets cost £10 before fees and are now on sale.
