The Joint Album By Kid Cudi And Travis Scott Is Canceled

Although Kid Cudi has said he and Travis Scott are no longer working on a joint record, he hasn’t ruled out future collaborations.

Cudder conducted a fan Q&A on Twitter on Wednesday (December 21), during which a follower inquired about the status of his joint project with La Flame, tentatively titled The Scotts.

Sadly, the Moon Man told the fan that the expected CD was no longer going to happen and the ship had sailed. The fan inquired, “Is The Scotts album still in the works?,” to which Cudi responded, “Naw im not doin that. The moment has passed.”

However, Cudder gave another fan a guarantee that he and Scott will still work on new content and deliver it. Just a few months ago, the rapper Cactus Jack gave Mr. Rager a sneak peek of a brand-new song.

In April 2020, Kid Cudi and Travis Scott released what was supposed to be the first song off their collaborative album, “The Scotts.”

The menacing, hard-hitting song was produced by Mike Dean, Dot Da Genius, Plain Pat, and Take a Daytrip. It was Cudi’s first chart-topper ever and Travis’ third. Later, it received a platinum certification.

Travis revealed to GQ later that year that he and Cudi, who he has cited as his favorite artist and greatest inspiration, had “a lot” in the works, while Cudder had previously hinted that the album was still in the works as recently as September 2021.

“It’ll happen. Not sure when, but it will,” he told fans on Twitter.
