The Album ‘S.O.S.’s Intriguing Cover Art Was Revealed By SZA

Later this month, SZA will release her highly anticipated album S.O.S., and she has now unveiled the cover art.

The cover, which features SZA sitting calmly at the end of an extended diving board with her legs hanging over a body of water that might be the ocean, was revealed by the Grammy-winning singer on Wednesday, November 30.

She is wearing a St. Louis Blues hockey jersey with S.O.S. embroidered down the sleeve and her name on the back, along with a pair of boots, so she doesn’t appear to be ready for a swim.

Numerous members of SZA’s musical circle, including JT, Tinashe, Justine Skye, Chloe Bailey, Doechii, Ty Dolla $ign, and others, entered the comments area to express their support.

In a direct interview with Billboard, SZA disclosed the album’s title and estimated December release date. She also stated out loud that she was anxious about putting the finishing touches on the eagerly anticipated record.

“I feel like music, in this capacity, I don’t see longevity,” she said. “I like to create, I like to write, I like to sing, and I like to share.” But I don’t know if chasing after superstardom or whatever I’m supposed to be doing right now is sustainable for me or for anybody. I’mma take a good swing at it, and I’mma give ’em my absolute best.”

The “Love Galore” singer eventually added: “I only do what I want to do, and this makes me feel free, safe, and unrestricted.”

In other SZA news, the singer is working on another project with Crocs. On December 6, anticipate the arrival of the denim-print shoes, following her appearance this weekend on Saturday Night Live (December 3).
