Talk of the Town is gearing up for a major return with a two-day takeover at Boston’s iconic Martini Shell Park this coming June 7th and 8th. The announcement comes as organizers promise an expanded lineup of entertainment, vendors, and performances following the success of previous years. The event will feature local performers, comedians, spoken word artists, dancers, and a variety of vendors, effectively creating a citywide talent showcase.
On June 7th, the festivities will run from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the second day, June 8th, kicking off at noon and concluding at 7 p.m. City officials have been credited for their support in helping bring the event back, signaling the strong community partnership that has made the showcase a standout for Boston audiences.
Talk of the Town has a storied history at Martini Shell Park, noting that their original showcase marked the first major concert at the venue since Kiss performed there in 1993. With this year’s expanded schedule, organizers are looking to elevate the event beyond prior editions, delivering a larger, more immersive experience for attendees.
The two-day celebration promises something for everyone: from music and comedy to spoken word and dance performances, alongside a wide array of local vendors. Organizers have shared video highlights from last year’s event, offering a glimpse of the energy and excitement that attendees can expect during the next run.
