SZA recently shared the reasons for her choice to get a Brazilian butt lift, and she hasn’t been hesitant about mentioning it in her music.
The singer from Jersey stated she had it done so it would look better in clothing when speaking to Elle in a new interview that was published on Tuesday (May 30).
SZA declared, “I’ve always desired a really large ass with less time in the gym. “I didn’t give in to industry pressure; instead, I gave in to my own reflection and the thought, “No, I need some more ass.”
She even made light of the fact by joking that she saw her new body as a flavoring accessory for whatever she is wearing.
She said, “I detest trying on clothes. I basically wear whatever is free in my mail; I don’t go shopping. “Is it an extra large?” I ask. Great.’ It would be fantastic if I could experience being covered when I’m outside. I handle my butt like a handbag. It only serves to improve everything else. And because it functions on its own, that’s why I paid for it.
SZA stated of her decision to use the BBL as a musical allusion: “That’s some Jersey crap. You understand what I mean? whenever I feel I have too much to say but don’t want to be sweet about it.
The 33-year-old singer most recently added another honor to her resume with the success of her sophomore album SOS, which in April broke Mary J. Blige’s nearly 20-year chart record and went double platinum.
The album remained at the top of the Billboard 200 list for a record-breaking 16 weeks, and SZA’s “Kill Bill” broke the record for the longest-running No. 1 single by a female solo artist. The previous holder of the record was Mary J. Blige’s 2006 hit single “Be Without You,” taken from her seventh studio album, The Breakthrough. After its debut, “Be Without You” remained at the top of the Billboard 200 chart for 15 weeks.
Other SZA news includes the singer’s announcement of a relationship with several companies, including SKIMS for its most recent campaign, SKIMS Fits Everyone, and the conclusion of her cross-country SOS tour.
SZA was picked for her “honesty, confidence, and dynamic energy,” according to Kim Kardashian, co-founder of SKIMS.
She wrote, “I’m so honored for her to be featured in SKIMS’ latest campaign. She’s truly the woman of the moment.”
