On May 26, SZA won favorite female R&B artist and favorite R&B song at the 2025 American Music Awards. To mark the occasion, she shared an Instagram photo inspired by Kim Kardashian’s 2014 Paper Magazine cover, where Kardashian balanced a champagne glass on her backside. SZA’s version shows her balancing a full champagne bottle on her back.
In her post, SZA thanked her team and fans, writing, “THANK YOU SO MUCH CAMP AND @amas for THIS HONOR! These are our first awards as a CAMMPP YALL ATE THAT FOR ME. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS !! Headed to phoenix to play tomorrow! Can’t wait to see everyone.”
SZA is currently on the Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar, performing in Glendale, Arizona on May 27. Recently, she brought out Justin Bieber at a show in Inglewood, California, to perform their remix of “Snooze.” Bieber’s wife Hailey shared a clip of the moment on Instagram, calling them her “2 favorite artists.”
“Snooze” gave SZA her second No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart in July 2023 and also topped the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
