Suriel Unveils New Mixtape The Turning Point.

As the clock struck midnight, Suriel quietly delivered what may become a defining moment in his catalog. The Turning Point, a tightly packed five-track mixtape, is now officially out on all streaming platforms.

The release was preceded by a brief teaser shared on Suriel’s socials just a day earlier:

“The Turning Point finally available on streaming platforms on June 18th. Not all the songs could make it on to streaming because it was a traditional mixtape, but I added a bonus track in there as well.”

That heads-up gave supporters a glimpse into the project’s DIY roots and intention—a modern take on the classic mixtape approach, complete with limited streaming access and exclusive content.

The project wastes no time getting to the heart of Suriel’s creative shift. As the title suggests, The Turning Point marks a new chapter—both in sound and in narrative. While he’s been steadily building momentum in Boston’s underground scene, this release feels less like a continuation and more like a recalibration.

The mixtape features fellow artist Jay Moon, recorded by kmf Tre and Mxxn, with the latter also handling mixing and mastering duties. Their joint production work gives the mixtape its atmospheric texture.

Stream The Turning Point now on all major platforms.
