Spotify Contains Leaks From Kendrick Lamar's "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers"

Online, unreleased Kendrick Lamar songs have surfaced on the “Morale Pack” Spotify playlist.

The person who posted the alleged leaks, Marozy, also posted two other allegedly leaked songs by Kanye West, “City in the Sky” and “Mr. Miyagi,” which are still available on the streaming service.

The three new K. Dot leaks, “Pure,” “Make Me Happy,” and “Computer Love,” were apparently made while he was working on his most recent album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, which was released last year.

Some of the lyrics and ad-libs from Kendrick’s verse on the leaked version of Baby Keem’s “Vent,” which Keem later used on “Cocoa,” are repeated in “Pure,” which was purportedly produced by Pharrell.

On “Make Me Happy,” Kendrick reuses phrases like “Crown on Bob Marley, wrist on Yo Gotti,” which also appeared on the Mr. Morale song “Purple Hearts,” while on “Computer Love,” the Compton native can be heard singing, “That pussy got a spell on me,” over the beat from the 1986 Zapp song of the same name.
