Snoop Dogg will close out season three of Amazon’s Amazon Music Live series with a career-spanning performance on Black Friday, November 29, 2024. The West Coast legend will take the stage following the Black Friday NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders, airing on Amazon Prime Video. His performance, starting at 7 p.m. ET, will be live-streamed on both Prime Video and Twitch.
As both a hip-hop icon and an NFL fan, Snoop Dogg is the perfect fit to wrap up the season. During the performance, he’ll run through classic hits from his extensive catalog while also offering fans a preview of his upcoming album Missionary, a collaboration with Dr. Dre. The album is set for release on December 13, but fans got a sneak peek during a live episode of Drink Champs at ComplexCon in Las Vegas over the weekend. The project has already received praise from celebrities like LeBron James, Jamie Foxx, and Travis Kelce, who showed support on social media.
Missionary marks the long-awaited reunion of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre on a full-length album for the first time since Snoop’s debut Doggystyle in 1993. While details of the album have been kept under wraps, notable guest appearances are expected, including Sting and Jelly Roll. Jelly Roll shared his excitement about the collaboration in an October interview, describing the moment he received the call from Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre as a surreal experience.
Snoop Dogg’s performance will be a highlight of Amazon Music Live, which has also featured performances this season from Big Sean and Jelly Roll. The season will conclude with the first-ever K-pop group performance on the Amazon Music Live stage by TWICE on November 21, 2024.
