Snoop Dogg has signed a multi-year deal with NBCUniversal to form a new creative partnership for his company, Death Row Pictures. The agreement spans film, television, sports entertainment, and streaming, with NBCUniversal securing first-look rights to film and TV concepts. One of the key projects already underway is a feature-length biopic about Snoop’s life and career. Snoop’s production company will also operate out of Universal Studios.

Snoop expressed his excitement about the deal, stating, “Not everyone has the courage and vision to see what Death Row Pictures can bring to the table, but Donna and the NBCUniversal team have always understood, which is why I am proud to call NBCUniversal my new home. The Dogg has officially moved into the neighborhood, ya dig?”

NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios Chairman Donna Langley praised Snoop’s unique qualities, noting his business acumen, creativity, and authenticity, and expressed excitement for his collaboration with the studio.

In addition to his work in TV and film, Snoop Dogg is set to release a new gospel album titled Altar Call on April 27, under Death Row Records. The 21-track album features guest appearances from Jamie Foxx, Robert Glasper, Denaun Porter, Jazze Pha, and others. Snoop dedicated the album to his late mother, Beverly Tate.
