Shaquille O’Neal has partnered with BeatBox Beverages to release a new drink called BeatBox Blueberry Lemonade. The 16.9-ounce alcoholic beverage contains 11.1% alcohol by volume, is low in sugar, gluten-free, and comes in eco-friendly packaging. It is currently available in select liquor, grocery, and convenience stores nationwide.
O’Neal, who regularly performs as DJ Diesel, discovered the BeatBox brand while DJing at parties. He said the company’s energy and approach to business aligned with his own.
“I’ve always been about trying to create unforgettable experiences—whether it’s on the court, DJing, or through my business ventures,” O’Neal said in a statement. “When I first came across BeatBox, I saw a brand with that same spirit of fun and boldness. Partnering with BeatBox felt like a perfect fit, and I’m excited to bring our new Blueberry Lemonade flavor to the table.”
In addition to being sold as a single 16.9-oz box, BeatBox Blueberry Lemonade will be available in a variety pack that also includes Watermelon Lemonade and Lemon Squeeze, two other flavors from the BeatBox Lemonade line.
This is not O’Neal’s first venture into beverages. In 2013, he launched Luv Shaq Vodka, a sugar-free coconut-flavored vodka, and also partnered with Arizona Ice Tea on Soda Shaq, a line of cream sodas. His name and image have also appeared on other products such as SHAQ-A-LICIOUS XL gummy candy in partnership with Hershey’s.
Over the years, O’Neal has been involved in more than 50 endorsements with brands like Pepsi, Google, Icy-Hot, Muscle Milk, The General, and Nintendo, extending his presence beyond sports and into various business sectors.
