ScHoolboy Q has said that he will release a new album very soon and is ready to give his fans some new music.
The Back On Figg podcast hosts announced that they had been in the studio with Q in a clip that the TDE rapper tweeted on Tuesday, June 6.
The mixing of ScHoolboy Q’s album has been ongoing. The hosts of the program warned that the feces will arrive very soon. “The album sounds fantastic. We just now informed you. Right now, this is significant. Every week, my brother and I have been in the studio together. The record has great sound. Fire, you understand what I mean?
They said, “I’ve never really been in the mixing process, so it’s crazy to be in those processes. You may feel that it’s also an experience. And we kind of record the entire procedure… There is the album.
Q responded to a fan who enquired as to whether he was capping this time by co-signing their news with the comment, “My guys,” and offering assurance. Actually, he said, “I’m not.”
Following 2019’s CrasH Talk, which featured features from Travis Scott, 6lack, Ty Dolla $ign, YG, 21 Savage, Kid Cudi, and Lil Baby, the upcoming project has yet to be given a name. With 81,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week, it debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, becoming ScHoolboy Q’s third Top 10 album.
The “CHopstix” rapper has, of course, been promising this album for some time; he once told fans to look for it around the beginning of 2021.
He said that his follow-up album would be released in 2020 at a concert at London’s O2 Academy Brixton in January 2020.
I’m not lying to you, I swear to God, bruh, I’ll be here all the time. I’ll release a completely new record this year, I swear. This time, I’m not lying, I assure you! And I’m the biggest liar there ever was! I’ll drop next month. Yeah right. N-gga, I’m dropping an album this year, I promise you that.
Since the release of CrasH Talk, I have been working on this record. I haven’t stopped working. I’m always working because I love to create and I’m always hungry. Additionally, every time I come out and see my supporters, it makes me value this crap lot more than it deserves to be.
On Twitch in August 2021, Q unveiled a number of new songs, some of which were joint efforts with Rico Nasty and The Alchemist. “I’ve put a lot of effort into this album. Hard,” he proclaimed during the livestream. Just take your time with everything, from the production to the lyrics.
ScHoolboy Q’s latest music release was the one-off single “Soccer Dad,” which was produced by Tae Beast, DJ Fu, and Skhye Hutch, and which you can listen to here. He said, “It doesn’t sound like none of my albums; it sounds like its own.” Nevertheless, nothing came of it.
