Ryan Leslie Shares More Details About His Return & Unique Album Release Concert

Ryan Leslie has been offline for a considerable amount of time. Fortunately, if you want to take a flight to Germany, he has announced an upcoming album and release show for supporters.

I thought we should preview the album before releasing it. So, we’re going to perform it live,” Leslie said in a recent Sway’s Universe episode.

I’ve had a sizable fan base in Germany for a very long time, so we’re holding a conference that is more like a concert than an open-air festival. The estimated attendance is 3,000, but attendees are flying in from all around the globe, said the Grammy-nominated singer and producer.

“It will be fantastic. It’s been a while,” said Leslie, who left the music industry to start SuperPhone, a company that uses SMS and MMS marketing to assist creatives and companies enhance engagement, generate money, and forge stronger relationships.

In October of last year, the singer of “Addicted” made his long-awaited reappearance official. On Instagram, he posted a flier for the event along with the message, “We’re proud & happy to present the 1st ever @ryanleslie OPEN AIR & ALBUM RELEASE concert in history.”

“We have chosen the lovely @tanzbrunnenkoeln, Germany, for this important event. Get ready for a spectacular experience because it’s been 4 years since @ryanleslie performed with his band live in #Cologne, according to the post.

Leslie encouraged fans to visit mynewalbum.com, where they can enter their phone number to be sent a text message, for additional information in a separate Instagram post in which he released a little video clip of himself working in the studio on what appears to be a single from his next album.

Leslie burst onto the music world in 2009 with her breezy, romantic debut album, Transition. The album, which includes classics like the timeless “Diamond Girl” and “How It Was Supposed To Be,” later received a nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2011. However, Usher eventually won the award for his album Raymond vs. Raymond.
